Remote access to Miner Library electronic resources is currently available to all members of the University of Rochester Medical Center community. Access to the network is issued on an individual basis. Fill in this form as completely as possible since the omission of information may delay activation of your account. If you are a River Campus affiliate, then please use the other online form.

Account activation will be completed within a week. If the account is needed sooner, a rush process is available by special request. Account procedures and information forms will be sent to the campus or home address that you specify.

What Can I Get with an Account on the Miner Network?

Your Miner account password will enable access to all the Ovid databases as well as the Digital Library. The Ovid literature databases provided MEDLINE, PsycINFO, and many other titles.

The Miner Digital Library is an integrated Web based menu that allows access to the Ovid databases, selected Internet and full-text resources such as Stat!-Ref, Harrison's Internal Medicine, SAM-CD, ROARing Cat, etc. The Miner Digital Library requires an Internet connection and Netscape 3.0 or Internet Explorer 3.0 or higher version.
